Its a good change after Lindy constantly playing guys banged up and getting more serious injuries. He's already causing damage in Buffalo by playing Benson while hurt and now having him on IR.

With the emergence of Casey, what if Montreal had picked Wright and we got Slafkovski instead of Nemec? I mean, I love Simon, but we could really have used a potential scoring power forward. Imagine him on Jacks wing and Timo on Hischier's.

I’m torn on this. I like the intensity, but the former goalie in me laments the senseless waste of good lumber.

I'm more than fine with Nemec. A right handed all situations defenseman is a lot harder to find than scoring winger.
