Extended warranty. People think I’m rich haha but I found this 5 years old in mint condition with only 7,000 miles on it. Once in a lifetime find.
What model is it ? I don’t know much about Jags. Where I am , there are hardly any Jaguar dealerships around . I am a huuuuuuuuge car guy. I have owned way too many different vehicles. I switch cars way too often.
I love you ride man. This is my current one .

2017 BMW M4 . Did some minor mods and tune . It’s insane how much HP you can get out of minors add ons as its atwin turbo V6. Currently has about 575 hp.
I want to get something different but I’m limited to what I get get for practicality reasons. Id love to get a Corvette but I can’t get away with a two seater. I’m thinking a Camaro ZL1 next or a Hellcat Charger

Pre-Covid you could get a just out of warranty BMW or Mercedes for less than. Thr price of a used Honda or a Toyota a couple of years older. The trick was you had to spring for the extended warranty and be ready to trade in the car when that expired. Both are pretty good cars if you change the oil every 5k miles with the good synthetic and follow all the factory maintenance schedules and find the stuff recommended by the enthusiasts. They will easily go well over 100k miles if cared for. The problem is that most Americans can’t be bothered to maintain a car. Look at the new car maintenance plans the manufacturers give you for free. One annual oil change and maybe a top up of fluids if needed? And people actually think that’s enough? I haven’t driven a Jag in years but I’m sure yours is a treat to drive. Take care of it and it will take care of you. When the warranty is up and the electronics start to go that is the sign to trade it in.

Post a pic of thr ibterior if you get a chance. I miss my M3 but it only fit two in the back realistically and with the five of us it got a bit old after a few years.

Embarrassed to say there was like a four month period where I watched this show on TNT all the time and had a huge crush on Catherine Bell.
There's a reason I skip the first season, which she wasn't in (well there was one episode where she played a different character which was kind of weird when she showed up in the next season). Also, that show was probably to blame for the 12 different NCIS series since there was a crossover episode between the two shows that I think launched NCIS (my memory is a bit hazy).

Mine is the coupe . It’s weird how they made the m3 = four door and the M4 = coupe.
There is actually a lot of room in the back. Adults can ride comfortably back there but there is only seating for two back there. Has a console thingy between the two spots .
Shitty picture but it actually has decent leg room and head room is surprisingly decent. I had an Audi RS 5 and it was way worse for head room in the back . Not sure what you could get that has room for 5 and is dun to drive . I had a Cadillac CTS V and 5 woild not be a good fit at all.
Id guess for a sedan it would have to be a bigger class AMG Merc.
There are so many deadly SUVs out right now. If I had the money , I’d have a Audi Q8RS or a BMW x5m comp. Now if I had your money , I’d just get a G wagon AMG or the Lambo SUV lol. I couldnt even afford to insure those.

Beautiful car. Have you had a chance to drive the new 2022 bmw m340i xdrive? If your looking for practicality with a kick I think it would be perfect. I just got a 22 330i m sport but wish i dropped the extra 8k on for the bigger engine. Was gonna get the m340 but my crypto/stock portfolio decided to jump off a cliff right when I was buying. I love the g20 model.

If I had the money I’d look at next generation M’s . I homeslty don’t know what I’d buy if looking for a new vehicle. I miss having a good old v8 . Those are becoming a thing of the past now with how much HP and torque can be made with forced induction v6s and of course with emission concerns etc.
I thimk I’d look at the 3rd generation Cadillac CTS V or new Blackwing .Those things are insane. I think 668 HP stock.

That was the drawback in the model from the early to mid2000s. Only two in the back. I’m surprised they didn’t change that. Someday I’ll have all my kids out of school and working to support themselves. Then maybe I’ll be able to buy a car just for me. Even than my wife will have a say and she doesn’t like small or fast cars. If I’m lucky I’ll be able to get another Honda Pilot. Maybe even with the AWD. I don’t see myself buying an extra car and insuring it just to drive once in a while.

Edit - just realized we are discussing cars in the team thread. Go Devils and if anyone wants we can carry this over to the thread about nothing.

From Jersey w/ Love
Sweet Rides my peoples. No sarcasm.

Switching gears back. The idea of Nischkin has grown on me. Does he play heavy? Not necessarly a tough guy. But from what I hear - it sounds like it. He's big enough, and is hard to play against.

When i'm floating around ideas of who's out there, i half-jockingly say I wouldn't sign Gadreau. I mean, of course I would... but he's not the type of guy I want mainly because of his size. Size in a vaccum isn't a big deal, but when you look at our team's forwards we're lacking just a bit of that.

I originally was hot on Forsberg, still am. But he's going to get priced out, I think. and he's not as big as I would like.

So yea - i'm all aboard Nischkin for the future with our smaller more talanted players.

Who is going to sign Gaudreau? The Flames don't have the money and neither do the Flyers. If he really wants to come home, we're the best option.

Fortifying the top two lines isn't the biggest need, but if the prize falls in your lap, you'd have to be an idiot to say no.

As awesome as it would be to have Johnny , I think he will get close to 10 mil per . That’s a ton for a winger ( but he does drive play from the wing ) . I just don’t know if he is a great fit with the rest of the roster .
I think I’d rather have two guys like Nuke and Marchment than Johnny with both Nuke and Marchment together costing probably the same as just Johnny .

More reasons to feel optimistic should we ever find a capable goalie.

I'm the optimistic type, so I'm going to sit here thinking this will all be a positive development for Daws in the future. Would love to see him become the guy inevitably, just not immediately unless he proves he can be consistent.

I think we are very close . The main pieces are there / hard to get ones - Hughes Nico Bratt Hamilton . With Luke and Holtz coming and whoever we draft this year we should be right there . Goalie of course , then shore up the right side on D and change a little the 3rd line up as much as you can ( Nuke please ) .

The Flyers have very easy ways to clear up money. JVR's contract can definitely move at some retention, especially to Arizona, and Oskar Lindblom can be bought out for 1/6th of his deal. Worst case scenario is JVR and Lindblom buyouts which still clear up $6M for next season.

Jeez buying out Lindblom after he returned from cancer is some bad karma and I think would majorly upset some fans/locker room.

Michael McLeod:

I see potential there from the limited amount of games I've seen, but he seems conspicuously absent from discussion on these boards.

Mindful that the Devils are flush at centre, what's the general consensus amongst fans here as to McLeod's long-term projection in New Jersey?

Decent 4th line C in that he's got the speed to play the way NJ wants and can win FO / PK, but he doesn't score enough. He's reached his ceiling imo and long-term projection is 4th line C if he's cool getting paid peanuts until he loses a step or gets overtaken by a rookie.

McLeod is a PK specialist who can win faceoffs, that's it. Also much worse at ES defense than you might expect.

He's at his current ceiling and will not improve. He's a barely passable 4th line center but his offensive impacts are pathetic and nowhere close to NHL caliber.

In regards to Fiala—does anyone know if him and Nico are close? Hopefully he can do some recruiting if Fitz is going to make a run at him come July.
