[I Hate Tie DOMI]

No way Severson is back. I've been looking forward to his going away for over a year now. I feel nothing toward him. He is not some martyr to me because he played on bad teams. He was part of making those teams terrible too. Now the team is good and he's a 3rd pairing defenseman, where he belongs. His next team is going to regret the contract they give him when they pay as and expect him to be a top 4 defender.

I'm assuming that Trouba will try to injure at least one of our star players with a flying elbow, and the NHL will deem it to be a "good hockey play".

I was talking about getting Clarke into some games to see what you've got with him in case there's injuries and you need to toss him into the playoffs. Hope they get him in rather than just sitting around as an extra

I don't see them as equivalents. Holtz was left to rot for months. In contrast, given how little Clarke has seen the NHL roster, he can sit for a game or two and practice and then go in on the fourth line for a couple of games before it's worth worrying about his usage. Just my thought.

Clarke could've made it out of camp with this roster, I would love to see him on the third line and Bastian moved down but Lindy won't scratch Wood (granted hes been good the last couple of games)

He should get at least get a few games this year to see what you have if you need him in the playoffs. Now if you add a 3rd liner that's less of an issue
