For Brady?
Yeah. I think he has everything we need. It's no disrespect to Bratt...I think Bratt is phenomenal.

it's just I think we get enough of what Bratt brings from Jack....and we need a little more dump truck in our top 6 than Ferrari.

I'd like them both in the lineup but if I had to trade Bratt for Brady I would in a second.

Man, if they can just go on a winning streak, the playoffs is possible...but that is what will be needed right? Idk how many losses they can afford.

We don’t have very much of what Bratt brings if we subtract Bratt from the roster. We have Jack. That’s about the only player that does some of what he does. There aren’t very many in the league that play with his pace and have such a positive impact on every line you put him on.

3 losses would leave a maximum of 18 potential points. So a maximum of 90 points total...

Washington with 77, Detroit with 78 and Philly with 79 are all most likely going to get to 90. These teams can pretty much go .500 and still hit 90 points

Was a ppg player on a better Sens team. Currently averaging 4.4 shots per gm this season. Three straight seasons of 30+ goals and someone who can provide some toughness to a lineup is not overrated. Hes only 24
And he's been incredibly durable for the style of game he plays. He's only missed a handful of games his entire career.

Brady has 140 points in 149 games the last 2 years. Bratt has 140 points in 152 games the last 2 years. Literally the exact same production.

Bratt has much better advanced metrics.

I get it, Brady is big and tough and fights (as if we should care about that?). A one for one trade is pointless from NJ's point of view. Neither team would do it.

Im not advocating to trade Bratt for him. But he is a good player and id definitely trade other pieces for him

If you look at Brady Tkachuk's cumulative stats over the past three years they're almost identical to Timo's.

Meier (5v5 since 2021-22):
212 GP
3156:41 mins
55 goals
113 points
612 shots
52.5 CF%
54.0 xGF%

Tkachuk (5v5 since 2021-22):
228 GP
3213:51 mins
56 goals
126 points
615 shots
54.4 CF%
53.6 xGF%

They're literally the same player. So I don't know where this whole "he brings an element we lack" argument comes from. It's just as false as saying that Bratt is expendable because we have other talented forwards on the roster.

Brady Tkachuk has been a point per game player exactly once in 6 years. He's a quality 1st line forward but people cream their pants over him like he's prime Bobby Clarke or something.

I think Fitzgerald would do it if it was possible.

Brady is more of a pest and instigator than Timo, thats the only difference

Both good players and would really cement our top 6 if we got him.

Tkachuk Hughes Bratt
Palat Hischier Meier

Brady

Timo
139 PIMs since 2021
481 Hits

If you think those two players are playing the same game you're nuts.

Might as well replace Palat with the other Tkachuk, that would be amazing!
