Well that's your problem, man.

Many of us are having fun with it.

Welcome to the Board, btw, Mr. New-Guy-Whom-I've-never-seen-before-until-this-very-moment. ;)
This is the second time you've said this in as many days, and I'm confused. I've never had an HFBoards account if that's what you're implying?

I feel bad for Boeser. It seems like he's been performing a little bit lesser ever since his dad first became ill and now he's since passed away.

I think he's a good player but I wouldn't really want him here long term and I was open to it about 2 years ago, but not really no more.

Anderson is Miles Wood on steroids and so is his contract. f*** no to him. I'm starting to LOATHE this player's existence, due to that stupid rumor that came out about how much we wanted him a couple months ago.

Perron is still signed for next year. I would be open to it as a rental, but not with a whole year left after that.

Domi wouldn't be the worst thing as he's a UFA and he's an upgrade to our bottom 6, but he's said and done some things that turn me off and seems like a shitty person. And then you have to deal with his dad coming every game and him and Dano hugging and kissing each other all game long, which just feels really gross due to the history with him and seeing Mr. Devil mucking it up with one of the biggest villains in Devils history.
Boeser has actually been a hard luck case most of his entire career.

This unfortunate collision fractured his back at the end of his rookie season in 2017-18.

He missed the last 16 games due to that.

While his production was fine when he was healthy in 2018-19, he developed a lingering groin issue that caused him to miss 13 games (10/24, 10/25, 11/6-11/24) in November.

In 2019-20, Boeser had 43 points (16G 27A) in his Van’s 45 GP. He then he only had 2 points, both assists, in his next 11 GP. No idea what happened there.

He hadn’t missed any games with an injury until 2/8, then he went out with a rib cartilage fracture.

The good news, he was back weeks early, returning on 3/10! The bad news, that became the Canucks’ last regular season game when the NHL shut down.

Then 2020-21… went well for Boeser? Well I guess it had to for some people. It certainly did not go well for the Canucks and he led them in scoring.

2021-22 just had some minor injuries and COVID to go with his Dad dying. An undisclosed pre-season injury caused him to miss the first 3 games. Missed 5 games in April with a UBI.

Boeser reportedly came into training camp this season healthy, with a great mind set, and told reporters that he believed that this was the year he would score 30 goals.

Boeser had 0G 5A in the first 6 games of the season.

Boeser was supposed to be out 3-4 weeks but he was only out from 10/24-11/5, missing 6 games.

I bet the Canucks have to know what they’re doing when managing a player’s hand injury though, right?

Second time?

This is the first time I've ever seen you around here.

(whoops...did you just accidentally out yourself that you have another account who I've already said this to? )

Not like I care but I think it's funny how "new" posters seem to come out of the woodwork lately just to be contrarian about things.

Oh.

Let's not forget the thing with his dad last year too, guy was tearing up and crying (don't fault him) when he got asked about it his dad's situation before he passed. I loved Boeser a couple of years ago as an add but I'm not sure if he's the right guy. Feels like he'd be a reclamation project for a team not someone you'd bank on completely which is probably what we need for Jack's future winger.

A few days ago, you sent me this: "Welcome to the NJ HFBoards section, new member. :sarcasm"

Today, you replied with this: "Welcome to the Board, btw, Mr. New-Guy-Whom-I've-never-seen-before-until-this-very-moment. ;)"

You're either trying to imply something, or you're just a little odd. You might also be confusing "an attempt at discussion" with "contrarianism". Who knows.

I absolutely love seeing players interact with kids.

I always imagine that the meet & greet thing is difficult for them, at least a bit awkward but NHL players handle it with such grace.

Carey Price with the boy whose mom had recently died of cancer was memorably moving.

The kid was just so emotionally raw and Price was very sensitive and kind in a real way with him.

This kid certainly didn’t have any “entitlement” issues.

"I didn't think somebody like that would sign my stick," Anderson said. "I didn't think he would have time for me."

"I broke into tears after he signed my stick. After, he gave me a big hug."

A lot of people in 2012 wanted us to trade Parise at the deadline so he didn't walk for nothing. IMO it was CLEARLY the right move to keep him. He wasn't amazing in the playoffs, but he was our captain and scored some big goals in the NYR series.

Whatever late first and two prospects we would have gotten for him would absolutely have not been worth as much as a Stanley Cup Finals run. Severson is not the same player Parise is but he is still a very important piece to this defense. If you deal him then you're one sketchy hit away from Brendan Smith in the the top-4 and two rookies on defense.

What a bonehead move moving parise would’ve been even if the team got bounced in the first round keeping him would’ve been the right call.
