He's a local to the area and played with the Devils youth system so that's probably part of the reason. Plus they are going to need some extra bodies for the pre-season when the full team will be in Prague yet we have a pre-season game in Philly the night before the first game in Prague.

13 Goals after 46 games, playing almost entirely in the bottom 6....he was tied for 4th in goals on the team with Nico after 46 games played....4 more goals than Timo Meier, 2 fewer than Jack at the time.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m fine with giving him a PTO, but he hasn’t been on Mercer’s level in about 5 or 6 years.

Hopefully he can earn a spot with Adirondack and then earn his way up. You figure with attrition he woukd get a shot in Utica at some point to play with Diotte.
