Better get Hellebuyck in quick
The best to ever wear it tbh.
You'd be correct.I don't remember Santini wearing #38 at all. That must have been his one game in 2015-16.
Fiddler was washed by the time he got here (4 points in 59 games his final season, that's almost Tuomo Ruutu bad). But he was a solid depth player in his day.
That line with him, Wood, and Blake Speers they tried for 3 games was easily one of the worst lines the Devils have ever iced in their history, even going back to the Scouts/Rockies days. 2015-2017 was filled with many dark days.
Not sure why he wouldn'tI wonder if Luke is going to keep the #43?
Not sure why he wouldn't
It seemed like all the brothers wore #43 in amateur hockey at one point and switched once in the NHL.Not sure why he wouldn't

They did. They also all wore 6 at some point, I believe. 86 kind of came out of nowhere (other than being 43 x 2)It seemed like all the brothers wore #43 in amateur hockey at one point and switched once in the NHL.

That had to just be a case of Poile really liking him and wanting him back for the stretch run that year, and for like roughly half a million on the cap. Fiddler broke into the NHL with Nashville and played there for quite a few years.Getting a 2017 4th for Fiddler in Feb 2017 from Nashville was a shocker.
I completely forgot we had him. I mean, "I would have bet money he never played for us" kind of forgot. For some reason I barely remember Fiddler playing for us, but Shero upgraded by signing a better and 4 or 5 year younger Fiddler the next year in Brian Boyle.
