I said 3 cause he went to 3 different teams after us so it's silly to thank Devils fans for him when none of us even think of him anymore and we didn't directly trade him to Chicago like the way Punk makes it out to be lol
Punk proclaims to be such a big hockey fan…maybe he can get his facts right next time before heeling it up with cheap heat in (insert city). He’s better than that….real lazy and not even a good zinger.

I forgot about this gross pile of shit song. The best thing about the Devils being low key and unpopular is we don’t have stupid shit theme songs like this. Although catch fire is very cringe.

I think this was supposed to be for the Ramones, but something happened and they had to get the Fakefits to perform it instead.

That was probably the biggest name they could get beyond the Ramones, despite the fact that they were a trash scab lineup.

catch fire is the 'so bad its good' joke now

but the flames' red hot is blows it away. (i'm sure you've seen it but got to post it) full team 'milli vanilling' every instrument...love how every player's voice sounds exactly the same. ....and man! that horn fakery!

pure cheese

The Edmonton GDT was legendary.

I had some weird Houdini shit happen in that GDT. We were down 3-2 in the 3rd. Graves was having a bad night and people were lambasting him. I quote replied someone criticizing his play and said "Graves will tie the game and you will like it!" as a joke. About a minute later.....Graves ties the game. 10 seconds later, Marino and Bratt magic.

What a great GDT to be a part of!
Whoa! Totally recall that. I think I even quoted you on it (as did probably twenty seven other posters).

The Misfits think they are what Operation Ivy actually is to punk history.

My chemical romance have a couple of very good songs. But their music overall is... way way out from me.
Their vocalist(who is comics artist too) is very artistic and has a lot of vocal tools. Its not my music, but I admit his level of professionalism.

Gerard Way - the vocalist - released a very good solo album that was much more straight-forward alternative rock. Check it out if you like alternative and indie.

eh - 2 things can be true. Different styles and different locations.

Misfits are pretty legendary in terms of impact to punk history. They were definitely one of the first bands I got into. Actually got into them and Opivy probably in the sam eyear.

Thanks! I`m not a fan of alternative and indie, but I feel nothing against. I`m a big fan of good versatile singers.

I was in the Virgin Islands watching the game on a cellphone hotspot connected to my laptop through a VPN. Will never forget it!

Meanwhile, back in Devils-related news :

This should be interesting.

"However, this is not a normal year. Connor Bedard is entering the NHL as one of the best prospects ever. He is one of the rare prospects that is expected to take the mantle from the current best in the world (Connor McDavid)"

Bedard is supposed to be better than McDavid? Or just a better prospect? what means

anyway, I can see Luke winning. i think people are overlooking bedard's size. being relatively small could make his first year rougher than expected. but then being shorter makes it easier to pack on muscle. will think more about it

Love Luke but Bedard is amazing.

Hughes would have to put up a monster season. Let’s hope.
If Chicago hadn't gone out and grabbed Hall I might give Luke a chance just guessing that he would rack up points pretty well playing with our forwards. But Hall-Bedard should be able to generate enough to make him the rookie points leader even if the rest of the team is a tire fire.

great post

i saw you sharing some songs so figured id throw one in for those who may not know (which sadly is a lot, though not their faults)

and for the record im quite young! just grew a strong-liking to soul music, not sure how lol

was just dancing while doing the dishes to some Friendship Train by Gladys Knight, her Soul Train live rendition is also lovely and accompanied by the distinguished Pips!!

edit, though im still working on my distinctions between soul and blues! had a neighbor jokingly bust me for it once haha

Haven’t heard this before. Those are hilarious lol

Fun story, Whitey is part of the alumni for those who don't know and he's present on the concourse for some games signing autographs if you get in the building early enough. He also happens to be my dad's favorite defensemen.

I met him before the Vegas game and mentioned that about my dad and got a picture with him, and I had to ask him about Rupper blowing up his spot about "One Eyed Whitey's". He got a big laugh out of it. Said something to the effect of "I can't believe he brought up One Eyed Whitey's on the air".

Such an awesome guy. Gotta love that he came back from that eye injury and can laugh about it with his home bar name. With the eye injury and his gravelly voice, he might really be a pirate.
