tofolli i think is absolutely going to be resigned regardless what the devils do with holtz it sounded like he wanted to be here and they werent bringing him in to just play 1 year.

if the devils did trade for markstrom or any other goalie would it be assumed vitek is going back? or what would they do?

It was rumored Vitek was going back along with Holtz.

I give up

Unless theres a trade happening that opens up a spot. Hatakka deserves to be on the roster. This is insane
Most predictable thing ever. Nobody should be remotely surprised. Smith I can deal with, but in no way shape or form has Bahl proven to be a better player than Hatakka.

Don't be completely shocked if Bahl stays in the lineup and Nemec comes out when Siegenthaler returns.

Like, Santeri has been legitimately good. I hate to see deserving players get sent down. I hope this is temporary and Fitz told Santeri how well he played and to keep his bags packed

There is a zero percent chance of that occurring. Pretty dumb to take Hatakka out though, he’s been great.

Definitely greater than zero percent chance that Nemec comes out of the lineup when Siegenthaler is back. Smith and Bahl played over Luke Hughes for the entire Rangers series last year.

I get that Nemec has NHL experience and Luke didn't at the time, but you haven't been paying attention if you think this team would never scratch Nemec. They value experience and grit greatly.

He’s playing 20:30 a game, all situations and has been outstanding. Not to mention he’s a righty. It would be the worst lineup decision in franchise history unless Nemec was completely hobbled or burnt out.
