He eats minutes and can play in any situation. He was also home grown. I know his gaffes are legendary, but there will be times next year when people will be like we should have kept Sevs.

Why are referees refusing to call penalties against players that maul Hughes ? Just like McDavid in the playoffs , teams would hang off of hI’m and waterski off of him, hook , hold , slash the piss out of him and refs refused to make calls …
Only reason I can see why is because if they actually called it by the textbook of what a penalty is , McD and Jack would draw 14 penalties a game .
Its bullshit . “Oh , you are so much better than most players so we cannot call every single infraction or you’d always be on the PP”
It neuters elite players when refs let way too much go when players try to defend them
