That game was painful enough announcing wise, let alone getting Tatar wrong the entire time.

I had to step away to make dinner, but I kept the game on in the background. When Hughes scored the tying goal, I damn near burned myself by dropping a pan of breaded zucchini I had just taken out of the oven.

Wasn't pretty by any means, but winning ugly, undeserved games like this is how good teams make the playoffs. I'll take it.

When you say “wasn’t pretty” are you talking about the breaded zucchini?

Watching OT again...

....my god, Karlsson just basically saved an OT goal by Bratt who had Reimer dead to rights with his patented deke move.

I don't know what others said here at that point (have to go back and check to see if there were any hot takes) but at first glance in real-time, I thought Bratt just lost the handle (or perhaps Reimer did make the save somehow).

f*** off Bratt

Bratt, WTF?

Oh Jesper.

OMG Bratt...
So what are all of your feelings after you saw that it was a great play by Karlsson in tying up Bratt's stick?

Still "F*** off Bratt", mdj? :sarcasm:

Forceten, I legitimately thought Bratt did lose the handle there so I was like "oh no..." but wanted to see the replay if that was the case before I started to agree with all of you....Thank god for replays.

Bratt had a wide open net as he had Reimer turned inside-out and on the ground.

Just got to tip your hat to a good defensive play by a very good and talented defensive player.

You don’t have to defend Bratt’s play. He’s a great player. Like Jack he can have a meh game still produce offense. He’s capable of more than he has shown lately but over a long season there will be ups and downs. I imagine the contract weighs on him at times even if he doesn’t want it to.

oh no question but I just found it funny the reaction by some here when that happened in real-time.

Noticed that no one said "oh! My bad. That's why he missed" after the replay showed Karlsson's great defensive play, though.
