They were average defensively last year, goaltending made them bottom 5. Their 5v5 metrics were good last year.

Having goalies that make saves helps too. Schmid made a few dandies that allowed us to take control.

It does....but not nearly as much as increasing your scoring from 2.99 to 3.8
