there are days I wish we had Zetterlund / Sharongovich over Meier. Big problem at the time was Ruffs lack of trust in Yegor.

No it's literally just because of Palat. Also last year was the outlier for Jack. Jack's consistently been a plus defensively since his sophomore year besides the nightmare last year.

He seems even better defensively this year! At least to my eyes. I just hope (along with maybe Palat) his learning the new system and more effort defensively is why.

I dont want Keefe lowering his offense in thr name of defense; but he didnt to that in Toronto so its probably nothing to worry about
