What about $2.95M?Anything over 3 mil is too much. We'll see
The filings were for one year. Common sense would dictate that Wood might give up a little on the per year for the security of a multi-year deal.I’ll guess around 2.2-2.5
Wood gives up a little money for the security of an extra year.
Edit: just saw what the filings were. Might be higher than that.
There is no way its that low. Wood likely would have gotten around $3.5M on a one year. It is almost for sure going to be in the $3's.I’ll guess around 2.2-2.5

Yeah, he's a better player than the typical go fast, score goal 4th liner in terms of game impact if for no other reason than his speed makes the defense play honest. Problem is I don't know how you can be confident he'll be that player again.I guess I’ve memory holed this but I didn’t realize that Wood actually had solid underlying numbers when he was last healthy.
Unless it's for cheap.Anything more than 1 year is too much....
As the team filed Wood had the option to make the award for one year or two. Or at least that’s my understanding.
I’m thinking it could be high twos rather than low twos. Anything over three would be hard to understand.
