What's the TG thing I'm missing? For some reason there's a lot of posts in this thread that just look blank to me. Not sure if it's a me issue lol

He replied to the tweet of Bill's call on Jack's second goal that he owns New York with a gif from Slap Shot when the goalie mimics Joe McGrath saying "owns, owns".

Listening to NHL Network on XM Radio before the game and they were basically saying Rangers need to get rid of Trouba and Kreider both for locker room issues and to get the team back on track with replacements coming the other way.

i was listening last night too before they switched to nhl network and barnaby (i think it was him) predicted a 5-1 devils win crazy that he hit it

Yeah some Rangers fans apparently are outraged at Jack for trying the Peter Forsberg move on Shesty on his breakaway and at Hamilton for his finger wagging celebration of his goal.

As to Jack that’s crazy. Get pissed over a guy trying a deke that failed? Have never run into this before. Displaced Fan Anger at having lost the game, okay, but projected that far? Jerks.

I'm lurking the Rangers subforum for their reactions and all of their anger is focused squarely on their team, and rightly so. So at least it's sane here.

This was also the annual game where they honor the Garden of Dreams Foundation, and they had a teenager with a rare genetic disorder sing the National Anthem. That's just sad, being terminally ill and watching your team just not give a shit.

Weird that we didn't hear any outrage when Bratt tried to deke.... :eyeroll:

They're just pissed that Kaapo Crappo wasn't the player they thought he was while Jack is a million levels better. :D

Luke leads the league in xGF/60 the past 10 and is only a tenth of a pt behind Barkov for the league lead in xGF%. Even with how great he was defensively to start the year the numbers look even better recently. I imagine that's largely because he's been spending more time at the other end now. I welcome my new Scott Niedermayer overlord

I've said it multiple times also, this is the biggest "what if" in the last 20-25 years in the NHL. NYR gets him and they probably win the Cup in 2022 or 2024, maybe even BOTH, but we have an elite top 5 center. Hockey gods came through for the Schneider years.

If the Rangers won that lottery they probably would've drafted Kakko anyway. Steve Valiquette was more excited about him.

lol Their insane boosting of Kakko had to be purely psychological. Not to say Kakko wasn't great his DY because he really was but I mean c'mon Jack was always the clear #1. They were subconsciously pumping up Kakko to the absurd degree they did while simultaneously tearing down Jack because they knew Jack was never a real option for them.

Probably not. The Rags had been desperate for a center for years. Plus, they couldn't possibly be as stupid as Valiquette, could they? Could they?
