Absolutely embarrassing performance by the defensemen tonight. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Forwards on top of them at full speed all night but somehow it's the defense (and goalie) that are solely responsible for the loss?

This is a wake up call.

Predators (and most of the Central Division) play grown man hockey; which is what they are going to see if they make the playoffs.

Might as well see it in late January and learn from it.

Blaming Blackwood is a hell of a oversimplication for those who have no clue wtf they just watched.

I’m not sure how many people are blaming him, the defense was bad with awful turnovers and watching guys skate past them. But he is a guy who doesn’t make it easy on himself. He struggles controlling the puck.

There is this ridiculous expectation on Blackwood. Guy faced 10 breakaways tonight. I legit don’t think I’m exaggerating that number.

I am a Blackwood detractor, but this game is not on him. The defense getting burned for at least 6 clear breakaways (and a couple more partials on top of that) has much more to do with it.

I've never seen a team give away so many breakaways. That was absolutely horrific defending. Score could of been a lot worse and none of it was Blackwoods fault.

His rebound control is bad because he is usually late getting into position/reacting.

He's just bad

For whatever reason, the only thing we can't argue anymore is that he's a good NHL goalie. His AHL career sucked and that was years ago, his NHL career is now more than good.

He'll probably be in the league longer than he should be, but I don't see any success long term for him. Maybe he has another good season at some point, but consistently it's just not gonna happen,

It’s embarrassing to lose to a bad team especially one coached by such a shit coach that we had to endure for half a decade.

Our defense sucked, special teams sucked, the refs especially sucked. The 4th line is garbage and wood should not be in the pp.
