Luke also got to stop playing in one of the worst designed defensive systems in a long time.

Even at Michigan though I didn't like his defense which is why I was originally down on his defense. I thought Casey was substantially better defensively at Michigan than Luke was. I thought Luke in his short 22-23 time and last year was better than he was in Michigan and then he's completely blown me away so far this year.

Exactly what’s happening. Coaching the immaturity out of their games. Remember earlier this season? Jack turning it over multiple times a game in bad spots. He’s been so much cleaner since. Love to see that happen in real time

I mean outside of last years nightmare (and the obvious rookie struggles) Jack HAS been a strong defensive player. He was also already great in the playoffs and Luke was our best D and arguably best player in the games they used him.

I don't think I would call the first goal off the rush - hard to be on the rush when someone is skating backwards in the offensive zone with the puck - but yeah he's got to loosen the reins a bit at some point. Nice to see them convert on their rush chances here, though.

Foote needs a consistent run of playing a lot of hockey. Halonen should be the call up and not Foote.

Very annoyed with the first half of that game. We got some momentum after the second goal and seemed to take off from there.
