I still think the short, tattooed, creepy Devils fan that travels everywhere is at least a lurker here, after giving me a dirty look as I let him out of his aisle last night after the 1st period. He must have seen me behind him outside when he was chatting with some other guy before the doors opened and he must have seen me post about it between then and the 1st intermission. I was pleasantly surprised to see he had his face painted for pride night. I'm guessing they were doing that somewhere on the concourse. That was a pleasant shocker for me, considering some of the things he chanted at the last game I saw him at and certain beliefs he has publicly expressed, both online and at games..... He kind of just seems like some trend follower to me.
I'm not one to paint anything on my face, but I would have gotten one of those paddle things I saw a few people carrying. I'm guessing they were sold on the concourse? They were sponsored by Stoli.
There was one guy down by me by warmups wearing a shirt that said ''I love my lesbian daughter'' and he had a pride colored key lanyard around his neck. He was there with who I'm assuming was a daughter of his in an Ekblad jersey.
Good for him. That's a standup guy right there. He was a big guy too. You know how many people would kill to have a dad like that? We need more parents and people like him. I almost wanted to tell him that, but at the same time, he's not looking to be pedestalized or commended for wearing a shirt like that. He's just living his life and he don't give a f*** when anybody thinks.
