What were the lines in the 3rd?

Bratt-Nico-Zetterlund
Mercer-Hughes-Yegor?

Really kicked something with that change, hope the Bratt-Nico bromance line will stay together for a few games as I think they compliment each other better than Hughes and Bratt, who play a very similar style.
They are both beautiful to watch individually but it didn't unlock Hughes so far. Think he could do with a more physical winger.
Agreed on the Bratt/Hughes. I think it's best we seperate them. I would actually love to see Zetterlund with Hughes. I don't think we have tried it yet. Worst case if it don't work them you put Mercer back with him. I'm personally not a fan of Haula being on Hughes wing. He's not putting up points & he's barely taking faceoffs which is his best ability so move him down. I would roll with
Sharangovich-Hughes-Zetterlund/Mercer
Bratt-Nico-Mercer/Zetterlund
Tatar-Haula-Boqvist
Wood-McLeod-Bastian

Man, creeping on 100 for a GDT is wild. Best HFBoards section no doubt!

I mean, it helps that we padded out 7+ pages arguing about which parts of New Jersey suck the most, another 5 arguing with Oilers posters about delusional members of their fanbase, and that the thread has remained open 14 hours after the game ended.

But yes, still impressive.

It was Thanksgiving comes early and by the end of the night everyone made up and ate leftovers.

Lol he was sooo bad last night. Truly awful. But I forgive him after scoring that goal

I don't

As much as Graves goofed up last game. Those goofs didnt actually result in a direct goal.. And he made a quirky move and got a back breaking tying goal.

I thought bratts fubar pass in offensive zone was more egregious (not taking shot). It directly lead to a goal against. Bratt being Bratt made ammends for us in glorious fashion.

I am on the fence with graves. I think he hasnt looked good this season....but i think this board is too hard on him.

If you stretch it out over a seson maybe we will regret it... But i think we need not to tweak too much right now.

I mean.. We are 8-3-0....! Dont change a damn thing right now (meaning big roster moves)

Yes it did....

What makes this all the more impressive is that Jack is not playing like he can . He has another level and his game is somewhat struggling right now despite having decent production .

So if Blackwood ends up out long term, I'd probably just bring up Schmid or Daws. Behind this defense, they might actually be passable as a backup.

Im not sure what to say there. I seen u guys started 0-2 and fans were chanting "Fire Lindsey". Not sure how it would have went.

In hindsight, I do think firing the coach would've been a bad move. That would tell the players it's not on them that their record is bad, and it was just the coach. The players needed to have some accountability drilled into them and they have done just that. The players have stepped up. I don't give a rats ass about Ruff, this is all the players.

Well here’s the shift chart:
A3C485B2-CC83-482D-970A-B2219C8C0A06.png

Now basically I like all of Hockey Viz’s charts except that one, my brain rejects it. But if it works for anyone else cool.

Here’s the even strength times for forwards (the time in parentheses is total ES ice time).

3rd Period Even Strength
Nico: 7:05 (15:57)
Shara: 6:19 (15:38)
Hughes: 6:18 (15:58)
Bratt: 6:14 (13:56)
Haula: 5:37 (13:34)
Wood: 5:11 (13:09)
Mercer: 5:03 (11:59)
Zetterlund: 3:53 (12:45)
Tatar: 3:46 (12:32)
Boqvist: 2:21 (9:49)
Bastian: 1:08 (8:26)
McLeod: 1:01 (8:59)

So Hughes was with Mercer & Shara:

Haula was put with Wood & Zetterlund:

Then Nico was put with Bratt and Tatar and they went to town. They did worse on a PP (*sigh*). and they put Boqvist with Nico/Bratt there near the end.

You can see Tatar played a bit with Haula & Wood at the end. Also the Nico box runs out of teammate slots but Nico played a shift with McLeod at one point.

Our section was always one of the more active… just imagine if we become consistently good. We would have new users popping up left and right… good and bad of course

Please say in the summer time. Its not the same town it use to be. We lost lots of industry. Lots of bad drugs on the streets
This would have been early September '08. It did seem like kind of a tough place. I was living in northern New England and did a big Maritimes road trip.

During the 2000 finals there was a player from the same town on the Stars (Jon Sim), so there was a story about the town getting a visit from the cup regardless of which team won.

And the D!

Siegenthaler: 8:28 (19:29)
Marino: 7:08 (21:42)
Hamilton: 6:21 (17:52)
Severson: 5:15 (12:34 spooky!)
Graves: 5:53 (21:30)
Smith: 2:59 (8:41)

Siegenthaler was a work horse and he & Hamilton saw weaker pairs more as we pushed for goals.

Marino was double shifting with Graves & Severson because of course he was.

Graves also played with Smith when Nurse wasn’t around.

Hamilton was just with Sieg.

They replaced Graves with Severson on Marino’s pair at the end to deal with Nurse and Ceci.

Smith got some time against the bottom two pairs.

can someone close it before the saturday game?

two gdt in parallel is very tough to keep up of with.

Wood-McLeod-Bastian
i would like to see a holtz game from time to time.

if he isn't hurt and not send down, he needs a chance to show improvements.
