No doubt they've played better than they have in the last few.

But the special teams are horrid, which really takes away any of the perceived good you are doing 5 on 5.

It feels like this is what they are. Which I'm not sure is much of anything special.

Makes me real averse to spending any assets on trades. At this point the only adds I want are free ones by virtue of getting healthy (Jarnkrok, maybe Hakanpaa) and signing a free wallet in Klingberg.

Just compare and contrast to the way Mitch Marner and Jack Hughes control the puck, distribute the puck and skate to deceive. One guy looks like he's just winging it, the other one looks like they're fully in control and aware of what's going on.

A lot of people will disagree with you but not me. Marner absolutely takes risks on whims. (That will haunt us in the POs)
