Yes but it doesn’t make it any less frustrating losing. It’s been far too long since we were good.
100% agree there. Just saying that I'm confident with our young core. Fix the goaltending and the special teams and this team will be ready to take the next step.

I mean not really.

Currently only a 3 game drought but he had 4 of those droughts at all parts of the season.

At 4 pts in 8 games which has been his ppg average lately.

Still getting 2-5 shots on many games.

He’s definitely tired from a long season but I don’t see a drop, especially him being put up and down the top 9.
His play sucks ass tonight can you not admit anything

Recchi can’t be here next year… he just can’t… How can someone be crappy at their job for so long and still have a gig? It’s been over two seasons of newr the bottom of the league PP.
At the end of last season, Fitz said the PP was a major concern to try to fix. Yet another season of a shit PP… you’d have to think Recchi is gone. Please Lord let it be.

I just don't know if I have the heart to watch the third and watch anymore of us getting worked by one of the worst teams in the league. I know we are missing players, but this is definitely a game that makes it painfully obvious why we are a bottom 5 team in the league.

Yeah one of the more depressing moments of the season. Maybe we cone back an win it in the 3d but I can’t quite think it’s good to stay up to watch it. Much more likely to be even more of a bummer.

Maybe, but we're also playing one of the few teams in the league that might have worse goaltending than us. Always a chance Grubauer gives up some wacky shit and we're right back in it.

Some of the worst things that can really happen to end this year would be Zacha scoring a bunch of points and giving him multiple years because of it. It'll be Zacha's new last third or maybe Zacha's last fifth or whatever it is?

Going on a power play bender and retaining Recchi.

I do still believe that Ruff's fate (and Recchi's) has already been decided, no matter what that fate may be. If he does end up coming back, I don't think there's much we could do from here on out that would cause that to change.

And if doesn't come back, I don't think there's much we could do to prevent him from being fired at this point. I don't think losing out is gonna cost him and I don't think winning out is gonna save him.
