If Seattle wins and/or Kakko makes a big play, I’d probably have something fun to play on the scoreboard to poke at the Devils.

Normally I want to see the Devils play well and let the chips fall where they may but I’ll take a sloppy win today if that’s all they can get.

Everyone looks tense on the ice and it’s hard to get out of those dunks until it just happens on its own. In some ways, trying to play harder to get out of the funk actually exacerbates things, which I think the Devils are guilty of lately.

Interesting quirk of scheduling that this ended up being the only 10 pm game for the west coast road trip.

Maybe with the late start the team will show up on time, but I'm just hoping they don't leave early again.

I usually dread the west coast trip because of the late starts. Just have the Utah, Knights, Stars, Avs roadtrip in March. Latest start time for the remainder of the season is 9:30pm.

I didn't even realize the Kraken's underlying numbers were quite as bad as they actually are. They're even worse than I thought. More humpty, cream of the crap, loser, suck (Disco Dan) garbage.

And they don't have a Dostal or Askarov to flatter them. They have the 2020 version of Cory Schneider.

They've put Daccord on injured reserve as of yesterday it looks like. He hasn't played in weeks.

Losing to all 3 of Anaheim, San Jose and Seattle on the same trip and in less than a week has to be really hard.

I'm not even sure if any of the other humpty teams could come up with 3 regulation losses to Anaheim, San Jose and Seattle in the same week.
