Allen has been ass the last bunch of games, hopefully he can get back on track tonight. I don't want to see any rolling around on the ice like a beached whale crap.

He was coming off an injury from the last game, and I believe they rushed his return. Hopefully, he had more time to heal and be game-ready.

Like the second game in Florida when blew the Panthers out - after we were flat but Markstrom stole the first meeting - my hunch is we dominate tonight. We’re playing with house money and go out, skate free, bring our A effort and bury them. (Which will leave them like 14 points down to us at mid season.)

Lazar confirmed back for tonight? 2nd games of B2Bs can get quite chippy. Not expecting many gloves to drop between them, but a lot of board grinding and after whistle tussling in which he would be nice to have for.

Canes don’t drop the gloves. They play their infuriating style quite well but they aren’t going to drop the gloves absent a clear advantage. A beat down by Dillon or Kovacevic on Kotkaniemi if he does his subtle cheap shots would be satisfying but he will turtle.
