Teams can’t have their A game every game. The boys are struggling a bit tonight, but it’s always a grind against the Canes. Win the 3rd and win the game.

With how Allen's playing and what you're facing at the other end this should be a game you win despite not playing your best. They're going for 4 straight though so I wouldn't exactly hold my breath.

I don't understand how we can't score on some 35 year old that was pretty much retired not even 60 days ago, who was an absolutely nobody goalie and couldn't stay in the league full time ever in his prime. Of course most of these goalies this year are the nobody goalies. If I didn't review all the goals I would have no clue who Dan Vladar or Tokarski or Scott Wedgewood were. Well, Wedgewood played for us, but you get my point.

But again, it's not like we have 30 shots on the guy either.

We haven't had the puck enough and haven't challenged this dude enough.

If we can settle down and start putting pucks on net we should get another this period.

People say we do EVERY YEAR, which I don't think is true.

This year it's absolutely true.

If we're just talking this year, Blackwood is probably the second best goalie that's shut us out out of the 5. That's how pathetic the 3 below him are. Binnington - Sucks but people choose to ignore it because he won a cup 6 years ago. Vladar - WHO? Wedgewood - WHO? I think I forgot the other one. i guess that's it? Other than Vasilevskiy, who I wasn't naming because he's not a bum.

And Elvis the king of softies MerzLEAKINS who didn't shut us out.

Min 10 games a lot of those really pronounced gaps are starting goalies facing the tougher workloads.
