No. He was passing in one direction and then moved his stick back in the opposite direction to hit him in the face. That's the right call.

@Divine while I understand where you're coming from with what you said, I think they got the call wrong in that case, and (unless you're an NHL referee trying to make a game management call within the same game), two wrongs don't make a right.

I'm a devils fan and I think it's a good call. He follows through but then he brings the stick back and that's when he hits him. I think the follow through is over when he brings it back
