I didn't see it, but the broadcast said they signaled NJD for too many men. So perhaps after the zebras got together, they realized their mistake.

Yes after costing the Devils the 6 on 5 advantage on the delayed call. This has been actually unbelievable officiating.

That was such a panic move by Markstrom there. The Carolina forward had totally given up on the play
