This is the part of the season where the injuries put the final nail in the coffin of a playoff birth, and then the eternal optimists rewrite history to make it seem like this team didn’t suck for two months before that while mostly healthy.

i’m not sure how you can watch the quality of hockey that this team plays and compare it to the teams just behind them and fighting for a spot and think that they can hold on for 20 more games. this looks like last years team right now

I’ve completely turned on Fitz. The change in philosophy and identity after the most successful season in franchise history looks like it was a very bad team.
It’s not like we’ve made the playoffs in 4 of 5 years with him. I’m half fine with just missing just to watch him go down the toilet.
I don’t wanna miss the playoffs, but at the very least it’s looking like a wild card spot when we can’t even score 2 goals on Utahrizona or beat any of the good teams.
Last year’s team was fun to watch.
This looks more like Travis Green’s team last year.
I am half starting to question if Keefe was a better option than Evason, who I liked before we hired him.
I’m willing to give him the benefit of the doubt because this wasn’t a trend in Toronto

Tom needs to be fired now. The season is over with no Luke for sure. Who's gonna play his minutes? Midget Casey? Bust Nemec? Maybe over paid has been Dillon?

Look, I've tried my best to think positive though all the struggles. Sometimes teams just have a rough patch during a season. But this has gone on for far too long and it simply cannot be ignored anymore. They play like losers out there.
