I'm more concerned about long-term jack. How many arm and shoulder injuries can this guy sustained where it just breaks his elite ability. I know he had one one each side but this seems to be another bad one

This season is now a rando-outcome.

Bummmmmmmmmmmmer all around

He also didn't trust his shot at all last year coming from the shoulder, he's gonna need reps if it is his wrist that was broken and we somehow make the playoffs (LOL)

LTIR jack and bring in some big guy? Somehow... Lol.

Miracle is team makes playoffs and somehow survive without jack. I'm going to go do something other than hockey watch for a few days. This is brutal.

If they get a timeline for him to be back for the playoffs then that’s exactly what they should do but they won’t

I mean it’s cool that Fitz fixed the D…but he’s been the GM for five years so these are his own mistakes that he’s fixing. And now the forwards suck, again he has to fix what he himself presided over in the first place.

I don’t think this is a “trade for two middle six forwards” fix either. The entire bottom six is trash and even our top 6 is flawed. There isn’t a single sniper or natural scorer to be found anywhere. Our best shooter is a defenseman north of 30 years old on a big contract. Every year Jack gets injured and everyone recognizes that the season is down the toilet as soon as it happens. That is not a well built team whatsoever. I don’t trust the leadership of this organization one bit, they have proven over twelve years now that they don’t seem to have a real vision or pulse on this team.

I want to believe that this ownership group and this core can win a cup, but it’s a real struggle.

Hopefully Jack was more shaken up than seriously injured. No point in adding to this team if he's out long term. Looked like he used both arms to prop himself up if I saw things correctly.
Fitz might be more aggressive in order to save the season if Jack is hurt . It will be tight timewise to know if they need to LTIR Jack and have cap room to add anyone worthwhile or what to do . Do they just punt on the season if Jack is hurt and not add anyone ? Or do they utilize LTIR and get a bigger piece and hope that Jack is back in time for playoffs ( if we make it ) .

This board's reaction to Jack Hughes getting hurt on a fluke play and saying "lolz get bigger and tougher Jack" is the exact reason we're in this mess offensively. Keep it up folks, it's really working lol

Listen I dunno what to tell you except there is zero chance our star forward plays a full season and he constantly falls down on the ice when skating on his own. Both are huge concerns fluke or not fluke doesn’t change the fact that it seems to happen to him the most on the team.

Or maybe how about build a roster that can sustain injuries to your stars? Novel concept, I know

Sorry but Jack just ain't that guy. I always appreciate the hustle but him getting pushed around night after night and the frequent injuries just proves that unless he has beef surrounding him he not on the level of the legit superstars of the game.
"Pushed around night after night" lol

Y'all just YAP

No putting on muscle or weight probably won’t help Jack. The reality is that he’s small and fast playing in a league with guys who are big and fast…and for all his skills he’s not particularly good at protecting himself…if you don’t think this is contributing to his injury rate then I don’t even know what to tell you. If you claim you don’t hold your breath every time you see him get hit hard or take a spill, then you’re just f***ing lying to yourself.
