The Monkees were a major influence on The Beatles!
Great accent ya got there... New Jersey??

That quote was taken from Dumb and Dumber, which is one of many erroneous quotes made by both main characters to showcase that they were, well, dumb!Apparently they were friendly with each other. You'd have thought the Beatles would have seen the Monkees as a parody mocking the Beatles.
I saw that but don't recall that quote. Then again I only watched it once when it came out. That quote was taken from Dumb and Dumber, which is one of many erroneous quotes made by both main characters to showcase that they were, well, dumb!![]()
Were you around when that Monkees hit first surfaced? Released on 11/12/1966. If so, it does my old heart good when I discover another poster in the same age group. LOL
I was a Jr. in High school and they were already on TV with their own idiotic show having premiered the first episode on 9/12/966. The show was really bad, but you always got a song or 2 that would be on the Billboard charts. Most of it was sing-along bubble gum, but they made a financial killing.
And Lloyd not knowing Austria was not the same place as Australia is the first one of these instances in the movie.

George appears in the movie. I think he may have been one of the Producers? He loved things that skewered the Beatles that were clever.thats why we have the rutles
man if only he could help the team win!!!!!!
I saw an episode a couple years back where they had a bit of a jam session which I thought was pretty good. Were you around when that Monkees hit first surfaced? Released on 11/12/1966. If so, it does my old heart good when I discover another poster in the same age group. LOL

Is that 7k in one shot or is it at least broken up?Lmao at this organization...
So long story short, our ticket rep has been, well mediocre at best.
We did not want to renew our season tickets and realized now that she didnt even bother to tell us that they are going to auto-renew already now. Nobody asked us if we want to spend another $7,000 a year againwhat the literal F
I have messaged our rep twice that we do not want to renew. She refuses to process our prompt. She just sent us general terms and conditions that you auto-renewed and Devils are entitled to charge you
Do we just have a dumbass for a rep or do others encounter this crap?
Ten emails about "please renew and place your deposit for 2025-2026" - not a single communication that we are gonna start auto-charging your credit card. Thats just.. not polite.
He was in Salem Mass. We believe he was turned into a newt. We hope he gets better.do we have a proof of life on @JimEIV
That blows. My reps have been great for the last two years. But its always hit or miss because those positions are high turnover (because the job sucks) and people come in and leave quickly. It’s 50-50 if you get a good one or a useless oneLmao at this organization...

So, you were not around to see them when the song was released. You saw a re-run. Yes? Thus, you and I are not kindred seniors.I saw an episode a couple years back where they had a bit of a jam session which I thought was pretty good.
They do have some decent songs.
I think he's in a tough spot there. Markstrom has a NMC. Both he and Allen will be 35+ and there is no way you can go into the season relying on 2 35+ goalies. Daws is also on a 1 way at around league minimumTom better be working on an extension for Allen.
Daws on a one-way pretty much says that the plan was to let Allen walk after this season . Not 100% certain but all signs point to that being the plan .I think he's in a tough spot there. A few weeks ago I think everyone would have been fine with Daws as the backup going into next year with Markstrom as the main guy. Now Markstrom looks absolutely awful and Allen is putting together a very good stretch. Definitely going to depend how this last month and the playoffs go
Definitely not. This might sound overreactive and catch some heat, but is anyone willing to entertain the possibility that the Devils might be able to build a better team without Jack Hughes? And maybe Dougie as well?
Not necessarily. Daws is still waiver exempt next season (I think) and the one way deal is just more for him to get guaranteed money for all of next year, rather than the measly AHL salary if he spends much of the year there.Daws on a one-way pretty much says that the plan was to let Allen walk after this season . Fair but I really wonder. I think he takes away from the other players in ways, doesn’t work with certain linemates, is pretty inefficient, might get a little propped up by Bratt, has his fair share of health issues and he is very limited in the type of game and role he can play.Definitely not.
Well, maybe without Dougie.
i like this because our cup chances actually go UP if we lost in Regulation
