Canucks aren’t going anywhere their window closes when Quinn doesn’t resign they should take the opportunity and offload this nhl talent be now or at the draft and really kick start their rebuild retool whatever. Miller Peter Quinn boss that’s legit pieces that can fetch a lot
Btw I’m someone that doesn’t care about the cap and even I would pass on Peterson at 11.6 unless it’s basically for free. The cap hit alone should drive his price down
Yeah between Pettersson’s strange season, his cap hit, and his upcoming NMC, it’s hard to imagine the Canucks getting a package that they’re satisfied with. That’s the #1 reason i think he won’t be moved. Stars never return as much as fans want and i think a lacklusterPettersson return would make the fanbase go nuclear.

I think Peterka would be the guy I want the most of the names that have been thrown around. And then maybe Pageau as a realistic center add.

Pettersson would 100% replace Nico in the dot for powerplays; wed much rather have Nico focusing on defensive and PK faceoffs
He wont be a Devil though lol, Cozens is far more realistic
At that point, if were talking super unrealistic options, Id prefer Robert Thomas more than anyone else in the league barring the McDavid and Crosbys obviously

On the other hand, the strange season, the cap hit and the upcoming NMC are the only reasons they would even consider moving him. If he repeats this next year, they're screwed.
If someone came to us last year willing to take Palat or Haula off your hands for a 7th rounder you may have thought that wasn't enough, now we would kill to get that much for them.

Odd are they just end up trading next years 1st for Nelson and extend him immediately thereafter to an insane four year deal lol

Yeah 2 more years left on ROR's contract is a killer. If it was only 1 year it would be more acceptable, though I still would not do it.
Call me nuts but I'm hesitant to bring in anyone over the age of 29 unless its a rental or one year term.
If ElMo was more like Dano the world would be a better place!
