Maybe he’ll just languish on Lafayette eating lasagna.Hopefully he doesn't Lasuck
Ah LaSighUnfortunately, Lachance is LW
I still think it's shoulder, but wrist would be best case. If they made playoffs, he could return and be solid assuming it isn't a bad break. If it's his damn shoulder, he's gonna be near useless even if he forces himself back with how he plays as is. Plus added concern for next season+. Soo wrist would be positive in my eyes.
I've never broken a wrist, but since first dislocating my shoulder in my late 20s, it now happens at least once a year (hockey and soccer). It's maddening and painful. Can pop back in and gut out soccer with brace, can't for hockey. I'd rather take a hammer to my wrist than have shoulder issues. Clear bias here lol. Oh and as I mentioned previously, the surgical options suck and have a high failure/relapse rate.
He doesn’t play center unfortunatelyBrian Halonen has 40 goals across 80 games over the last 2 years. Might as well give him a look. I can’t watch any more Haula.
Hughes is done for the season!“Not as bad as expected” could easily mean he injured his wrist instead of his shoulder for the third time, but still requires surgery and will be for remainder of season. I wouldn’t put any stock at all into that “positive” tweet.
He doesn’t play center unfortunately
True, a chair would not have deliberately screened Markstrom last night on the game losing goalA chair could replace Haula right now and we wouldn't know the difference, it may even be an upgrade. May as well try the winger at center at this point
Haven't followed that stuff in here, but they don't have to take my anecdotal for it. Simple Google searches and reading medical journals/studies from reputable places would tell them the same.Strange. All the experts in here say surgery would make Jack's shoulder good as new, that the repetitive injuries are freakish in nature. They're not.
He doesn’t play center unfortunately
Certainly he was great when they played him like this last season lol. This is so f***ing stupid. This team has sucked and been trending downward since December. We ain't winning shit this year even with Jack. This is the same bullshit they did last year. Should send the entire medical staff packing along with Fitz...

They are gonna move 1 of the 3 D prospects by start of next season. That's my prediction. It's the most realistic way to upgrade the top 6 long term.Blackwell from Dallas, Duhaime from Dallas, Kupari from Jets and other guys from good clubs are having literally the same stats or even worser than Tatar with even less ice time.
Tater for his money, for his ice time and for his role is doing fine. He isnt the problem at all. Could he be better? For sure. Could we find better player? May be. But he is not where our problem is. Our problem is supporting cast from top-6 and middle six that cant produce at all.
And even than - Im not a big fan of trading Mercer. Because he is young. We already traded Zetterlund, Sharangovich, Zacha and left Boqvist on the road, who were not as great in the moment but could be better depth scoring forwards than we have now, especially long term. Only if we will trade Mercer for other young forward under control, but why someone will make a trade like this?
He can maintain the puck through the neutral zone. Just watch him. His best play is digging a puck outta a scrum and it's just frantic with sine success. It's not control hockey whatsoevertatar's signing made little sense at the time and seemed to be a panic move. he's not good enough to be in the top 6 and doesn't have the necessary intangibles to be in the bottom six. if haula wasn't here, he'd be the worst forward on the roster after macdermid.
