He’s getting a 1st at his full cap hit. Let alone retaining half. He got a 1st when we moved him and he’s been better this year than he was then. The other former Devil would be the move.
Having a strong start to the season. Also 2.5 shots a game which is good for him

They need bodies who are just about there. A 2nd and a prospect. That first was way down there if I remember correctly and didn't we threw in zajac too?

I don't see how they'd fit in Bjorkstrand cap wise, Vatrano is a good option though.

I disagree about not adding a "bottom six forward". Our top 6 has been dominant but our bottom 6 has been a weakness. The depth scoring issue will self correct if the bottom 6 is improved.
I think the bottom six has been what they want it to be. You’re betting that Hischier and Hughes win their minutes and you just need the bottom six to be two lines that don’t hurt you. If Tampa sends out Kucherov’s line against Haula, you’re comfortable they can hold their own.

Come playoff time you add a forward or two to slide everyone down which helps boost the bottom six as a whole. Depending on the opposition maybe Hughes gets two heavy forwards and Meier drives play on the third line.
