Feels like forever since we've played lol
This board has little patience.People were too quick to jump off the Dougie ship before, he literally hadn’t played a real NHL game in ten months when the season started.
Meh he's no Lane Hutson. That Jack Hughes stat about 20 GF 0 GA in his last 10 and the fact he’s on a 125pt pace in the last month should vault him right into the MVP conversation.
I love that Keefe is doing here what he did in Toronto with Marner Matthews and Nylander getting them to be more responsible in the DZ without sacrificing all their scoring ability
Yea the PDOcast really gave him his flowers. So well deserved for our little Jackie poo. That Jack Hughes stat about 20 GF 0 GA in his last 10 and the fact he’s on a 125pt pace in the last month should vault him right into the MVP conversation.

I admittedly haven’t been the biggest Jack or Luke supporter beyond the fact they’re both Devils and great players but they’ve fully captured my attention and support this year they both have been revelations. Could still use a little bit less falling and no look passes which they seem to be slowly removing from their gameYea the PDOcast really gave him his flowers. So well deserved for our little Jackie poo.
Given what Jiricek just got you can probably acquire the best player available at the deadline for Nemec straight up or possibly get a long term fixture at forward. If it’s the TDL it’s probably a piece for right now if it’s in the summer it could be a hockey trade to help the long term center depthTo piggyback off of what someone else said on the closed thread, I really wonder what the team is thinking regarding Nemec. I wonder if he’ll be a trade piece closer to the deadline if Fitz thinks that this team has what it takes to win it all.
Agreed. If they can sign another Haula type so they have support at middle 6 center that’d help a lotI think they'll probably end up keeping Nemec. Really don't think they should be giving up on him.
Why would we need to trade Nemec to address center depth? They have two top centers in the league signed long term. Just fill out the 3rd and 4th line centers with short term free agent signings.Given what Jiricek just got you can probably acquire the best player available at the deadline for Nemec straight up or possibly get a long term fixture at forward. trading Nemec to "address center depth" is insane talk.
There are about 25 or more NHL teams who would kill to have our center depth.
If you want to trade a couple of 2nds or another prospect? okay fine. Nemec is an extremely valuable piece. There aren't any realistic centers I am trading him for.
Yeah center depth is perhaps the worst thing going with this franchise right now. When healthy, it obviously doesn't matter, but we kinda don't have any centers at all after our two beautiful boys and Haula.
We very desperately need centers in the organization, at every level quite frankly. Not saying that Nemec is the piece to get us them, but it's not a radical thought given our RD strength.

it's crazy because we've literally done this same exact thing with the same exact playerPeople were too quick to jump off the Dougie ship before, he literally hadn’t played a real NHL game in ten months when the season started.
