Tired: Fire Ruff.

Wired: Ruff quits by the 2nd period.

His expressions after this *gestures* start are… pained? I’ll go with pained.

I'd love to see Nico replicate his goal against the Stars a few more times. Love seeing those crazy individual effort plays from our star players.

The (unfair) knock against Nico has been that he can't take over a shift like that and singlehandledly change the course of a game, the way that guys like Hughes can. But that goal showed that he can do it.

That ridiculous Nico assist is exactly the type of play I was talking about. Created that goal out of thin air.

Maybe we have found a winger for Nico that he can dish to game in and game out....

Awesome play by Nico and great finish from Fabian!

I watched a fair amount of Zetterlund the first couple of years after he was drafted. He never struck me as a guy who had any finish. Really impressive how far he’s come along. I’ll just say that before the knee injury Talvitie was significantly better than Zetterlund

I'm actually feeling bad for him at this bad.

He had a similar reaction when they panned to him after the Rangers scored (I think it was the first goal?) the last time we played them.

I do have a little bit of empathy.

Let’s relax on Zetterlund. Still hasn’t overly impressed me and that wasn’t exactly a convincing finish or anything worth talking about.

What's Talvite doing these days?

That wasn’t a good finish. He flubbed the shot.

I mean, I don't think anybody is going crazy over him. If he can be a solid bottom-6 down the road, that'd be nice. He's done really well in the AHL and he hasn't looked bad at all since his call up.
