I don't mind the money for that type of player but I doubted that he was the guy we needed. My thought was that we got the best out of him the year he was here and didn't think a return trip was warranted at this point and we should look elsewhere.

They needed a guy who can play top6 and comes dirt cheap. Everyone available at that price point has some major liability somewhere.
