I forgot exactly what it was, but on the day of game 7 against the Rangers someone on facebook/twitter/whatever (maybe it was even him?) asked who he thinks win the game tonight and someone posted a Rangers gif or something and he liked it.

It was confirmed that this Dan Blackwood was in fact Blackwood's dad.

And the name Dan Blackwood sounds too much like former Rangers blue chip lottery pick goalie Dan Blackburn.

It took me a while to figure out when this pic could have been, cause I know they had that winter classic in like 2012 in Philly and Blackburn was longggggggg gone by then.

Then I took a look around and could tell by the aged faces on the ice that this had to be the alumni game.

Blackburn at that time I don't even think was 30 years old, so he was probably the youngest guy in that game. I remember Lindros being in it and he wasn't even 40 yet. I'm sure everybody else were a bunch of old zigs.

I'll never forget the alumni game before the heritage classic (2003?) where Messier played with the Oilers alumni team, despite still being an active NHL player with the Rangers lol.
