Yes best case scenario....Hopefully Reinbacher, Demidov, and Dobes/Fowler...
I don't care about the points alone, Suzuki has been pretty dismal to me this season. Not engaged to the extent he was last season. He was driving play last year.
Yea. Re-sign him 7mx8 he almost scored on a one timer
And hage and kapanen and whoever else we draft this year....Hopefully Reinbacher, Demidov, and Dobes/Fowler...
And most of the shots they took miss the netMontreal should have had at least 1 goal in that period. They're missing too many great chances. So frustrating.
Again, Monty not being aggressive around his net. There's no reason for him to fall back on that 2nd goal & lose his feet.
He needed to get on that puck. He's so soft defending his net.
My point was if they quit so easily because one guy went down it doesn't bode well when the games actually matter.Guhle and Caufield.
A core is usually 6-7 players.
He cannot process the game at this level. He might find a niche as a PP triggerman, but I don’t see a player that you want out there 5v5. He’s another Deangelo.Mailloux has a looooong way to go. Not impressed besides his wrist shot from the back end.
I'm looking forward to seeing him play with players of his own skill level. Hopefully that will happen when Demidov comes over.
But even if he plays well he only gets signed if the cap hit is commensurate with both his offensive amd defensive levels of play.
That's why they should move him down to the second line put 92 on there for a couple of games after this breakIf Slaf isn't using his body and being physical he doesn't offer much with Caufield as his opposite winger. There's no consistent board presence from him, he does 1 shift and creates a chance. you think he's about to be physical and open up space for caufield but he's floating the next three shifts. I'm not sure what the team does but it's a hot mess right now. Beck looks like a better forward than half our line up.

It's sad that when we have a player with an open net to shoot at I don't even get excited. There's like 3 guys on the team I'd trust to hit an empty net from 10 feet out, with the rest I know for a fact that the puck's going a few feet wide lol.Team is creating chances, but being snake bite and just not being that skilled/confident is why the Habs are down 2-0
He's just not good, that's the reason.Montreal should have had at least 1 goal in that period. They're missing too many great chances. So frustrating.
