No way, it’s all about that Keystone Light! Powered many a party in my day.

Of course, I haven’t had it in over 10 years. I graduated and gained some standards.
You guys are so YOUNG and talking about the "old Days".

The go to beer of my college days was Old Bohemian ("Old Bo") to us $.79-$.99 a sixer depending on the sales pricing. Tasted like piss, but after the 1st couple went down like water. Had to be the stuff they cleaned out of the vats and watered before making real beer. Didn't matter the results were the same as any high brow beers and you know that's all we were after.

This was a fun watch. Blues feed whining about Siegenthaler through all the 3rd period shenanigans. Kind of a shame that’s the final meeting of the season. Some real bad blood out there. Felt like the start of a rivalry.

I love that Noesen said in his postgame interview that he felt that it was a bunch of BS by them at the end of the game in his opinion.

Insane that the blues got so butt hurt over neighbors tripping into the boards but it’s totally fine they boarded Kovacevic in the first.

in our day it was either Utica Club or Stegmeier. Both awful to my taste. I always tried to scrape up the extra dollar for the Pabst Blue Ribbon.

There's a bar next to the subway station where I go to and from work that sells Utica Club cans. $4 because it's too goddamn expensive in this city. The can brags about how it was the first beer to be officially sold after Prohibition. It's not too bad, honestly. You can do better with your cheap beers, but you can do a hell of a lot worse. Natty Light was at practically all the keggers at my undergrad, and it was so bad that a keg of Keystone Light was a welcome sight.

You wonder if they could have just sprayed some grain alcohol into club soda and sold it as some sort of ready to mix drink starter for even less than the cheap beer. At maybe 7% alcohol it would probably taste bland and still work like beer. If you wanted to add some OJ or lemon juice it would probably have been ok.

I was getting ready to post my Jacques Lemaire pic after seeing that tweet, but that was during Robbie Ftorek.

I was spoiled during college: I had a side job that paid me alright (well, for college, anyway), so when I got to my fourth year and lived off-campus my housemates would go in on a keg of Miller High Life, but I'd duck out and go pick up a six pack of Sam or Brooklyn. I'd share, though, and try to bring in some liquor for everyone when I could manage, too...but there were definitely a few times I "forgot" to.

I went through a Brooklyn Lager phase. I still like it. It's just hard to find.

When the arena first opened in Newark there was a bar in the train station near the entrance that had Brooklyn Lager on tap. Seems I always had to wait 45 minutes for the next train home so I always spent that time in the bar with a Brooklyn....or three.
