Some of the Markstrom angst that we had here really should go now. The guy is giving us what we need to win. Within the structure of limiting shots to be sure (only about 20 allowed tonight again).

Made the big saves when we neeeded them early and also is proving physically durable. Fitz got the right guy. And if I’m Keefe I’m running him back out against Columbus again next game. Ride him while he’s hot. It’s not like he’s getting over worked in these recent games and he’s in increasingly better form.

The team is giving Markstrom the chance to win. Not the other way around.

As much as I don't wanna talk about him, I'm pretty sure that's the 2017-2018 season, and I cannot remember McLeod being up during the regular season at all that year.

Did we have him on the roster to start the year before sending him back to juniors after a week or two? I have no recollection of him making the team out of camp that year, and he definitely didn't play any regular season games in the NHL until the second half of the next season, but that's definitely him next to Wood.

He may have been prioritizing getting offensive chances for the third line, which has been cold of late.

Feels good to get the win in St Louis. Everyone on here earlier mentioned the struggles against them the last 10 plus years and the MSG broadcast did the same lol. Good team win , the Devils were the better team tonight. All we really need is some players going cold to pot a goal (Cotter , Haula, etc). Other than that the Devils have been playing super well the last 4 games. I love the fact that we are getting legit good goaltending and have players who are actually good at defending/hard to play against.
