Pissed about the frustrating result but pleased with the effort . We dominated and deserved to win. Shit happens . Luke played unreal . We are seeing him turning into a superstar player before our eyes .

I think Markstrom has underwhelmed. I think he CAN play better.Yeah but you hate Markstrom too.
Allen is what he is, which is a career mediocre goalie. That's why Binnington exists, because he couldn't hack it that year. That run in St. Louis didn't happen because of Berube. Although he's a huge upgrade to Mike Yeo. It wasn't until Allen was on the bench most games that they truly turned it around.
And yeah, I'll be extra pissed if Markstrom isn't lights out, because that probably means more Allen, who peaked over a month ago now. I have no interest in seeing Allen after next weekend's back to back until January 18th or whenever the next back to back is.
I have a feeling that this is gonna be kind of a fairly normal game for Allen from here on out. He'll have good games, just like Blackwood had good games in 2022-2023, despite the other two being wayyyyyy better.
But I don't think he's got another good run in him.

Yeah this is absolutely a game that should piss you off. While yes they continually got robbed they also had more than their fair chance to finish their chances. Reminds me of the Edmonton game where yeah Allen was great but also Edmonton blew a lot of their chances. We did the same here
You can tell some players were frustrated as hell and pissed off they were dominating yet couldn’t score. Jack was on a mission to say F u Elvis

I mean they showed up v the Leafs after a stupid loss that wasn't on the skaters, they'll show up. The Pens also blow and are the antithesis of the Devils, only way they lose that game is again goaltending lol

Not many times will a defenseman have a goal and you’re disappointed because he should’ve had at least a hat trick. Luke is becoming a machine at both ends.

That was one of the most ridiculous games I’ve ever seen.
The lack of any offense, even just chances, from the back end and the bottom six is getting extremely concerning. Sooner or later that’s going to become unsustainable, most likely once the playoffs roll around. You can’t expect six players to deliver against NHL goalies every single friggin night, because on some nights even they are doing what’s expected of them the puck just won’t go in. The same goes for the goaltending. Sooner or later we have to get a goaltending performance that’s just as good or better than the opponent’s, or it’s going to bite us in the ass when it matters most.
