I have only been telling you for years now that this team needs at least one of Landy or Nuke. I know, I know......it has only been one game but Nuke comes in and just like that the 2nd line looks like a 2nd line instead of a 4th line. Now imagine if a 80-90% Landy would also come back. Imagine what it would do to our 3rd line.

IMO Parsy should model his game to Nuke's. Obviously I don't expect him to become as good as Nuke but IMO he would be much more valuable to this team if he did...and Bednar would like him much more.

Statistics back it up too. We are great with Nuke and without him we are awful.

I don’t wanna be an asshole and put too much pressure on you, but you gotta read this if you care about me…

The old woman sat on the porch swing, her wrinkled hands clasped around a mug of warm tea, watching the sunset paint the sky with hues of orange and purple; the day's heat was finally giving way to the cool evening breeze that rustled the leaves of the ancient oak tree in her backyard, a tree that had stood witness to generations of her family, its gnarled branches reaching out like protective arms; her mind drifted back to a time long gone, to a simpler life where the rhythm of the seasons dictated their days, where the land was their sustenance and the community their family; she remembered the laughter of her childhood, the joy of running barefoot through the fields, the sweet scent of freshly baked bread wafting from her mother's kitchen; as a young girl, she had dreamed of adventures beyond the boundaries of their small town, of a world teeming with possibilities; but life had a way of weaving its tapestry, and she found herself married to a farmer, raising children of her own, tending to the land that had been passed down for generations; the years had flown by, marked by the birth of her children, the joy of their first steps, the bittersweet ache of their departures, and the quiet contentment of a life lived close to the earth; her husband had passed away many years ago, leaving a void in her heart that time had not been able to heal; now, as the sun dipped below the horizon, casting long shadows across the yard, she felt a sense of peace, a quiet acceptance of the inevitable cycle of life and death; her children and grandchildren would continue the legacy, carrying the stories of their family within their hearts, and she knew that even when her time came, her spirit would remain woven into the very fabric of the land she loved.

What the f*** lmao? Impressive

He played his first regular season game in two months.

You’re owning me.

Definitely owned you, even with 20/20 hind sight. It was Stazz level 😄

Sure, bud.

Go to bed and argue with the pillow for getting hot.

@dahrougem2 didn't take the bet, but you did.

You know I'm just going to make you both wear Nuke carrying the cup Avatars lol.

God that was a fun game.

Nichushkin is a good player, of course. But how much of this is about availability?
It’s clear that without a real two-way player in the lineup they flounder badly. They need that guy who wins puck battles at will, wreaks havoc in front of the net (and knows how to deflect a puck), plays capable defense, and can retrieve pucks no matter where it is.

It’s a major flaw of this lineup that they’re so insanely reliant on Nuke. The team has simply targeted too many one-way players, and if anything made themselves way worse defensively while not improving the offense at all.

I think the success is just due to the fact they were forced to change things up with Necas instead of Mikko.

Every year they play lights out on teh PP. Then get stuck in their routines. Then have to adjust. Then are lights out on the PP again. They're super hot and cold and I think most of it is because they become predictable for the opposition who studies them.
