Since Jan 1st, Hughes is 12th out of 24 skaters with a 48.33 xGF% at 5v5. McLeod is 17th with 47.17%.

To keep this on topic, I think Hughes will be the one to benefit from Meier the most, even if Meier ends up on Hischier's line (which I think is the right call). There hasn't been a ton of line consistency this season, and I think that's a big reason why our 21yo hotshot tries to do so much on his own. Meier should really help shore up the top two lines.

Maybe move Mercer to Jack. They seem to have some chemistry last year?

yeah I think I would do Meier - Hischier - Bratt, Shara - Hughes - Mercer. Keep the prolific goal scorers on separate lines. Tatar can maybe bring some life to the third line like he did with Mercer and Johnsson last year.

Swapping Meier for Zetterlund makes the line juggling a whole lot simpler.
