Honestly wouldn’t be suprised if telling a Russian is the hold up given it’s middle of the night there.

I don’t think they would hold up the announcement for Muk. It wouldn’t be life changing for him.
Team would still want to inform any players involved before social media leaked it.

At some point the team would have to give up their attempts, of course.

Who would you guys rather hold on to. Zetterlund or Sharangovich ? I'm debating this with my old men's league team on our Facebook chat while we wait for the trade to officially break.

Yeah, Harrington sucks

I don't think he's even better than anyone we've iced on D this year

I'd like to say he's like another Connor Carrick, but I don't even think he's that good. Might be more like Dalton Prout

And he's turning 30 years old next month and has only played in 238 career NHL games in the regular season, if that tells you what he is.

AAAA defenseman at best.

I can't even remember him scoring against us, but he played with the CBJ/in their organization for a long time, who owned us for years and years.

He's credited with 2 goals against us.

Ahhh, they were both in 2017-2018 lol.

Zetterlund. I really like Sharangovich, I think he's a potential 30 goal scorer, but Zetterlund is more physical and is a right-handed shot.

I'm really torn on that. With Meier, probably would rather keep Z. But really torn.

Zetterlund will be cheaper, a right shot, and has more room to grow, but Sharangovich is the better player today. It's a tough call, but Sharangovich is more disposible given the team's needs into the future.

I remember Scott Harrington scoring against us because I had no clue who tf that guy was
Former 2nd round pick by Pittsburgh, just over a decade ago.

Scott Harrington is a very simple player to describe. He's a simple, stay-at-home, collect the puck and get it to a guy who handles it better type of defenseman. He's effectively physical without being aggressive, with decent size at 6'1-205. He skates around an average level, maybe a little above. He's good with gaps and positioning, but below average with the puck. He's essentially a stay-at-home partner to an offensive defenseman, and he's clearly an NHL-quality player so his ultimate value to the Devils will be blueline depth for the playoffs.
