Not a certainty to be claimed but I wouldn't want to be putting him through waivers, a few injuries hit somewhere and he's looking like a great option.

I do expect there to be several guys being subject to waivers who wouldn't be in years under a tighter cap.

Just waive Noesen or Bjugstsd. NJ should be so lucky that they get claimed.

As for Amadeus, he fits a good profile but he is small. We will see what he can offer in camp but I'd be curious why Det never gave him a chance to play even one game.

I feel like if he was 6’0” 182 listed instead of 5’11” 182 listed then there would be noticeably less people that would vote he was small by his card.

Not a direct comment on Amadeus, he may be 5’6” despite his listing or play small, just a general comment that 1-2 inches in height have a disproportionate impact on player size discussion.

It looks like he is a center first not just a can play center guy. That’s the position he played in the AHL. Who knows if that’s a possibility or consideration at the NHL level.
