And while Cangi isn’t quite in the high risk age demo yet he’s closer than we realize, he’s not exactly a world class athlete in his 20’s.

Wonder how Cangi ended up getting it, I thought they were being kept separate from the team and obviously he could have gotten it elsewhere but the timing is right when the team went out sick.

Hope he's gets well soon, he's a great guy and we are lucky to have a broadcaster as good as him doing our games. When you start to listen to other guys around the league you really appreciate Cangi even more.

I'm sure even if they keep the team separate there is enough staff, whether it be arena, production, food or other that keep everyone at least some what connected. Which makes you think if it's something like that, that a larger out break happened than we know about. No conspiracy, just meaning that we need to know about the players and that's really it, but odds are there are a lot more people on "the list" than we know about.

If it traveled across continents and oceans, arenas aren't much of a challenge.

I remember getting pushback when I said someone is going to have a terrible time. Zajac probably had the worst luck but even the young guys were symptomatic for a week+. This just isn’t something you want athletes getting and we aren’t “lucky” for having some immunity for the rest of the year.

Seriously. All it takes is one dude getting it, and who knows how they got it, then that dude doing hockey stuff around like 25 other people in close, poorly ventilated proximity.

Was this a common thought on this board? I didn't think so. I certainly saw some people on the mainboard saying the Devils should be punished for their players doing things wrong, but the discussion on this forum was mostly about the efficacy of the measures.

And assuming that anyone who "has symptoms" is on death's door. Some people are so doompilled that they automatically rush to assume the worst about everything.

I wouldn't necessarily say this board but overall I've seen far too many people saying the players should've done this or done that and are basically blaming them.
