Not a big fan of the retros, I lived it in real time and don't need to be reminded how bad we sucked lol. To keep tradition alive we've lost every single game in the retros except one lol.

It really sucks because the "off season" technically is in full swing, but we are fresh out of off season topics due to having our off season starting 8 months ago....

Hockey is a great “distraction” that I’ve leaned on year after year. Hopefully camps can start before the new year and we can get back into hearing some new news.

Same with the Giants and their retros. Shitty teams lose a lot. When you wear certain jerseys only a handful of times against good teams, there's a strong chance you never win in them.

This is true for sure. Good team or bad I never liked our original unis and couldn't wait for them to be gone.

Kind of shocking that the jersey redesign outrage dissipated so quickly. The new jerseys are still pretty atrocious, but nobody mentioned it after the first month or so.

Because there is no point in complaining about it... duh.

I am a fan if the Christmas Jersey, but not a fan of blackout jerseys. The Stars’ stadium jerseys were awesome. The Stars’ black out jerseys are terrible.

Not sure where to post this but it's been 10 years since the Kovy shootout miss.

I remember going to a Deli in my town and watching the replay of the shootout and we were all laughing (but pissed)

at one point there was apparently a best of Talking Heads compilation being put together and the record company said it would make big bucks if they played shows in bigger cities to support it. Byrne couldn’t be talked into it. As for the Beatles, based on what I’ve read I think John would have done something with McCartney on his Venus and Mars album had he not returned to Yoko from his lost weekend after the Elton John Thanksgiving show at MSG. George would have complained bitterly but I think had John and Paul wanted to do something as the four of them on Ringo’s Stop and Smell the Roses album he would have relented. Sigh.
