Schmid is liable to get lit up.

His lay and pray that the puck hits you because you're 6'5" approach to goaltending isn't really a recipe for long term success. He's not very good.

He's a rebound machine. And so many go right in the slot.

The last 5 of the first period and the second period is how they need to play.

Finally getting real grade A chances from in the slot actually tested Schmid and got goals. A novel concept.

Let's hope our experience means something in Game 7. Devils will be nervous, it will be big to take it to them early.

Btw, aside from his idiotic drop pass in the second period, I thought Kane was actually really solid tonight. He had noticeable jump in his stride. He would've had a goal too on that 2 on 1 if MSG ice wasn't abysmal and the puck jumped up two inches from his blade. He had a hand in the first and third without even getting a point. Drawing the PP and then he created the turnover that lead to the zone time for goal 3, he changed and Tarasenko came on and scored seconds later.

Big shoutout to Igor who was fantastic. A Lundqvist like performance from him facing elimination.

They have to get the first goal. Absolutely critical. It opens NJ up.

Stepping up at the blue line instead of letting them right in the zone. More defensive pressure, and physical play.

That and actually attempting good shot selection as opposed to the weak perimeter wrister with no one waiting for a rebound

It seems he's more susceptible on the glove side from far rather than in close. Zib and Tara beat him high slot

I missed most of the game as I was out for dinner tonight. I'm not surprised at all with the result. This Rangers team has to wait until their backs are against the wall for them to start playing lol. Watch them win game 7 now.
