Nice win! asking devils fans how playoff dougie is doing, Hilarious to see this after how cocky they were, I don't expect my Canes to be able to go 7 games with you in round two this year being as depleted as we are but the Devil beat down is great.
I'll allow it! Their GDTs on the main boards left a lot to be desired anyway.

This was a great win. Can't underestimate that the Devils needed this game badly and came out strong. And yet, we handled it with composure, discipline and patience only good teams seem to possess, leading to 5 unanswered goals.

Of note: Kakko was a beast out there. Best game of the year for him.

I don't know, I mean, I'm a little out of sorts.

No turtling with lead
Consecutive four goal wins
No nervous moments
Meeting/Exceeding expectations
TDL acquisitions working like a charm
Big Names with Big Games

What the hell am I watching?
They're actually playing sound fundamental hockey, keeping the game in front of them, no stupid drop-pass giveaways (except Kreider's at the end, heh) ... it's disorienting.

This was a huge win tonight.

The PP is taking on a life of its own and that could be really difficult for the Devils to overcome.

Also think Ruff made some needless changes going into this game with such a young team. They weren’t that bad in Game 1.

It’s obvious that the run the Rangers made last year is paying big dividends. There is another level of execution we are seeing with the team. Little things and big things. Managing the puck really well. Making the safe play but not the lazy one.

You add some Cup experience with a couple of game breakers to the mix and things start looking really rosy. Kane woke up. That’s alarming.

Keep it rolling at home. Series could turn at any moment but you gotta be thrilled with the type of hockey we are seeing from this team. The belief is there and it’s resonating from every player.

Also - one more thing. The decision by Gallant/Drury to have this team stay together in a hotel as opposed to driving from their homes across the river proved to be an important one
