Would imagine it'll be the same lineup as Tuesday?

Do we have to make a trade (or two) to get Hakanpaa eligible? Same for Dewar I guess? My understanding it is roster spots we are lacking as much as cap space?

Hakanpaa and Dewar have been on their conditioning stint for 6 days which is the maximum amount of days, so they should be activated shortly... unless there's a rule that I'm not aware of or unless their health took a turn.

They would be at 25 rosters spots once activated and would need to get to 23. Waivers is the likely option to achieve 23.

Better pace yourself with a puck drop at midnite.
 No kidding.
Have been trying to convince my daughter to let me sell them but no luck.
Think the kids call this a first world problem

I’d expect some moves today

Benning is the easy one to see being waived.

The other will be interesting since I think we need some cap space as well. Myers being waived would not be enough. Wondering if something happens on the Robertson or Kampf (who was good last game) front or if it is something out of left field?

They don't need cap space to activate them, the Liljegren trade took care of that. It'll likely be Myers and Benning waived.

LTIR conditioning loans can last up to 3 games AND 6 days, whichever comes later. 6 days have been met, 3 games have not been met yet.

It's maximum 6 days and 3 games, which ever is reached first. They can ask for an extension though.

The loan lasts for up to six days and three games. So either maximum may trigger the end of the loan. This loan is only to determine a player’s fitness to return off of LTIR. Teams are allowed to ask for an extension of two more games, and that happens often.

LTIR conditioning loans can only last for up to six days or three games, whichever comes first. After the conditioning loan ends, the team must activate the player from LTIR if they’re deemed ready to return to play and haven’t sustained any setbacks in their recovery.

They will likely apply to get the full three games with Dewar and Hakanpaa. So, roster limit challenges kicked down the road a few days.

Nope. Per the CBA itself, the conditioning period cannot exceed the longer of 6 days and 3 games:

I feel like you're reading this wrong. It can't exceed the longer of 6 days and 3 games. It's not both conditions have to be met. The big emphasis is on the cannot exceed. So whichever of the longer is reached first means that one of the period is met and cannot be exceeded.

The big stipulation is when they were officially signed over to the conditioning stint and if they asked for an extension due to low amount of Marlies games.

I don't understand how you're still misinterpreting this lol what even was that bolded word salad?

The longer of 3 games and 6 days is the same thing as when a player becomes eligible to be placed on LTIR by being out for the longer of 10 games and 24 days.

How is this remotely the same wording...

Bona-Fide Long-Term Injury/Illness Exception to the Upper Limit. In the event that a Player on a Club becomes unfit to play (i.e., is injured, ill or disabled and unable to perform his duties as a hockey Player) such that the Club's physician believes, in his or her opinion, that the Player, owing to either an injury or an illness, will be unfit to play for at least (i)twenty-four (24) calendar days and (ii) ten (10) NHL Regular Season games, and such Club desires to replace such Player, the Club may add an additional Player or Players to its Active Roster, and the replacement Player Salary and Bonuses of such additional Player(s) may increasethe Club's Averaged Club Salary to an amount up to and exceeding the Upper Limit

a Player who is on the Bona-Fide Long-Term Injury/Illness Exception, or who has been unfit for 24 calendar days and ten (10) NHL Regular Season games, may be Loaned on a Bona-Fide Long-Term Injury/IllnessException Conditioning Loan (with the Player's consent) pursuant to Section 13.9 above for a period not to exceed the longer of six (6) days and three (3) games (which Loan is not subject to any extension), provided, however, if the Player is not on the Bona-Fide Long Term Injury/Illness Exception, he cannot be Loaned while he is on Injured Reserve;

Both directly from the CBA. LTIR says at least 24 days and 10 regular season games. LTIR conditioning clearly states "cannot exceed the longer of 6 days and 3 games". I'm not sure how you don't understand either and what you bolded was an attempt to explain it. Every other website and sources, including Sportsnet, says I'm right. If you can site me any other source other than yourself clearly pointing to your side of the fence being right, I will gladly accept.

What else can "cannot exceed the longer of 6 days and 3 games" be? It's quite obviously whichever of the 2 lasts longer, which in this case for Hakanpaa and Dewar is 3 games because it spans over a period longer than 6 days.

Also I edited my post but you responded too quick. I had realized it wasn't exactly the same language quickly which is why it doesn't show that I edited the post.
