Expected. Hopefully we can stop arguing about the logistics... all that matters is they aren't back in the lineup, and we have a few more days to sort this out.
If you can site me any other source other than yourself clearly pointing to your side of the fence being right, I will gladly accept.
Lmao you're still being stubborn about this. It literally says "current conditioning stint", and those 2 games they are going to be playing were part of the 3 games, which comes after 6 days.
“Not to exceed the longer of six days and 3 games”Nope. Per the CBA itself, the conditioning period cannot exceed the longer of 6 days and 3 games:

Long term conditioning assignment
What are the rules for this? Ive looked and cant find them. Thanksforums.hfboards.comUnderstanding Conditioning Stints

A player coming back from a long-term injury can be assigned on conditioning loan for up to 6 days or 3 games (whichever is longer). They can get an additional 2 games with approval from the Commissioner.
The loan lasts for up to six days and three games. So either maximum may trigger the end of the loan. This loan is only to determine a player’s fitness to return off of LTIR. Teams are allowed to ask for an extension of two more games, and that happens often.
LTI conditioning assignments can last for a maximum of three games and six days although Los Angeles can ask for a one-time two-game extension if it’s determined that Grundstrom needs a bit more game action.
With this being an LTI loan, there are some more stringent rules than a typical conditioning assignment. Murray can be with the Marlies for up to three games and six days and if he needs more time, the team can request a one-time two-game extension. That should be ample time to assess if Murray has indeed fully recovered and the original allotment is enough to get through the end of the regular season with him still on LTIR, removing any salary cap concerns.

“Not to exceed the longer of six days and 3 games”
I read that as, if it takes longer than 6 days to play 3 games then that is the threshold
Lmao you're actually being funny now. 1st link agreed with me when it said "whichever is longer."All those links either agree with me or don't really expand to say it agrees with you. Did you read them?
HFBoards link:
The 2nd link you gave me says:
3rd, 4th link and 5th link say the same without much explanation
The CapFriendly tweet doesn't change anything either. All it says it can't exceed 6 days and 3 games. Berube's comments mean very little when all sources say that they can ask to extend loans and it's often granted.
I'm not trying to argue in circles. So I will leave at that. It's so minor and changes very little anyway.
It means which ever is reached first ends the loan as I understand it. They can ask to extend the loan, likely in the same scenario if there wasn't enough games to properly assess their fitness level.
Lmao you're actually being funny now. 1st link agreed with me when it said "whichever is longer."
2nd link means that the team CAN end the conditioning stint when either maximum is reached. That doesn't mean that the team MUST end the conditioning stint when either maximum is reached. So that link agrees with me too.
3rd, 4th and 5th links all say "3 games AND 6 days", still not enough for you. And wow the disrespect to CapFriendly just because the site is dead and gone now. Their accuracy was crazy when the site was still alive. CapFriendly literally also said "3 games AND 6 days."
